Sasha - Angel pro

早紗
The kanji in Sasha's given name mean "early; fast" (sa) and "cloth, gauze" (sha - can also be just a part of a given name). The kanji for "sha" is the same used in Misha's name.

Sasha Sasha is Misha's big sister, and she's very big sister-like indeed. While Misha can be scatterbrained and not really giving much thought to the rules of Heaven, Sasha is a full-fledged, responsible, by-the-book angel. She cares a lot about Misha, and tries over and over again to imprint some sense of responsibility in her. She stands up for her, but yells at her if necessary. Sasha is also very strict, and she does not want Misha to forget her duties and slack off. Sasha is a real professional angel. She's good at her job, and she knows it - there is nothing wrong with her self confidence. She's proud to be an angel, and happy about her job.

Even though she cares a lot about Misha, Sasha doesn't really understand her little sister all the time. Misha lives by her heart, Sasha by the book. The choices Misha makes seem unfathomable to Sasha. Sasha sees Kotarou (both the first and the current) as hindrances to Misha's angel career. She does not understand why she cares so much about him. Sasha has a more professional relationship to humans: she cares for them and works for them, invisibly helping them toward unhappiness, but she would never get closely involved with them. So Sasha ends up blaming Kotarou for Misha's problems. Sasha is a lively, energetic girl (at least one trait in common with her sis), and she has quite a temper which she's not afraid to let show if she becomes upset - usually either with Misha for slacking, or with Kotarou for "being in the way".
