Kamichama Karin special
Koge Donbo's first series after Pita Ten ran in Nakayoshi from the December 2002 issue until issue 10/2005, and it's called Kamichama Karin. There are 7 tankoubons out (it's published in English too), and there is also a follow-up series called Kamichama Karin Chu. The story is about a young girl, Karin, who lives with her strict aunt since her parents are dead. Things aren't going so well for Karin, and she's really sad because her beloved cat just died. Then she discovers that the ring she inherited from her mum might well be a magical ring, which gives her special powers.. the power of God?!
The characters all look so incredibly cute ^_^. But I really feel sorry for little Karin.. why are there SO many orphans in manga? They're everywhere, poor little things. ;_; I've only read a little of the manga, but it seems nice (I WILL read it all some day..) A nice mixture of magic, cute characters and both sad, romantic and funny situations. And the artwork is of course gorgeous.
