Hikari Inoue
Hikari comes to Kokoro Library to receive training as a special case librarian. She's very shy and won't talk at all. She's actually very sad because her mother is in hospital and seriously ill.
Jun Uezawa
Uezawa is a driver who regularly delivers books to the library. It really amazes me how poor Uezawa-san isn't always treated very nicely, when the sisters are so kind to everyone. Actually, Iina see him as a kind of a pervert and Aruto thinks he's kinda dumb. Kokoro though, always treats him with respect. Now Uezawa might not be the most brilliant guy ever, but he's a good guy with a kind heart, always caring about the sisters (especially Iina of course, since he obviously has a crush on her ^^).
Misato Fukami
Misato is a young girl who's been sick, so her over-protective father makes her stay inside all the time. Misato likes to read books, but she really dreams of going outside and living a normal life.
Akaha Okajima, and Midori Okajima
Akaha and Kokoro have been friends since they were little. Akaha is a kind and soft-spoken girl, who likes to borrow books at Kokoro Library. Her mother Midori likes to visit the library too.
Inspector Kajihara
Kajihara is a policeman who comes to the library trying to catch Funny Tortoise the Thief, who he's been after for a long time. Kajihara is followed by a whole lot of female officers, who are very loyal to him.
Funny Tortoise the thief
The mysterious Funny Tortoise is a thief who's sought after by the police for stealing more than a 1000 items. He's also a master of disguise, and travels around in a hot-air balloon.
Marie Momochi
Momochi is the new mayor of the city. She's concerned with efficiency and what's best for the majority of the people.
